Turning travel intent into a focused boat-rental marketplace.

Gangway connects destination inspiration, searchable boat inventory and tracked onward booking journeys—helping customers move from “where should we go?” to a relevant set of options.

Business context

Boat rental is a high-consideration travel purchase. Customers think about destination, group, dates, experience and trust long before they think about a particular supplier. Meanwhile, inventory is fragmented across operators and third-party platforms, and valuable search demand is highly destination-specific.

Gangway was created to bridge that gap: a discovery experience shaped around how customers plan, with structured inventory and a clear commercial path into booking.

The marketplace challenge

The marketplace had to combine inspirational tourism content with live, structured choice. Customers needed useful ways to narrow the market; partners needed a clean handoff; and the content architecture needed to support many destinations while keeping each journey relevant and discoverable.

Why a generic affiliate directory was insufficient

A conventional affiliate directory exposes inventory but adds little value. It does not help customers understand a destination, compare the right options or feel confident taking the next step. Gangway required a purpose-built architecture where content, search, product presentation and affiliate tracking reinforce the same journey.
