1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use megabite.io. “Megabite” refers to Thomas Barrie, trading as Megabite Technologies, EU VAT identification number ESY2280802K, of Carrer dels Germans Cabot Franciscans 35, Bunyola, Mallorca, 07110, Spain. Using the site means you agree to use it consistently with these terms and applicable law.

2. Informational purpose

The site explains Megabite’s positioning, example work, engagement models and general views on operational technology. It does not provide legal, financial, security or other regulated professional advice. Content is general and may not apply to your operation.

Pricing is starting guidance, excludes VAT or IVA where applicable, and is not an offer to contract. Project scope, deliverables, assumptions, taxes, fees and responsibilities are confirmed only in a separate written proposal or agreement.

3. Accuracy and availability

Megabite aims to keep the site useful and accurate but does not promise that every page will always be available, complete or current. Services, investment guidance and external platforms may change.

4. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the site’s original copy, design and Megabite brand material are owned by or licensed to Megabite. You may view and print reasonable extracts for internal evaluation. You may not reproduce, sell, scrape, republish or create misleading derivative material without permission or another lawful basis.

Third-party names, brands and product references belong to their respective owners. Reference does not imply endorsement or partnership unless explicitly confirmed.

5. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security, introduce malicious code, collect information unlawfully, submit false enquiries, overload a form or use content in a way that infringes another person’s rights. Automated access must respect technical controls and applicable law.

6. Enquiries and fit calls

Sending a form or booking a call does not create a client relationship, confidentiality obligation or commitment to perform work. Do not send credentials, sensitive personal information or confidential third-party data through the public site.

The Operational Fit Call is an initial mutual-fit conversation. It is not a free technical workshop, audit, design engagement or substitute for paid discovery.

7. External links and providers

The site may link to scheduling, email or other third-party services. Megabite does not control their availability or content. Their terms and privacy notices apply when you use them. External links should open safely, but you remain responsible for deciding whether to use the destination.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Megabite Technologies is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general website information, temporary unavailability, third-party sites or use outside the intended purpose.

9. Project work

Any project is governed by its own signed proposal, statement of work, service agreement or other written contract. That agreement will address scope, payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, data protection, warranties, support, change control and liability. If it conflicts with these website terms, the project agreement governs the project.

11. Changes to these terms

Megabite may update these terms when the site or legal requirements change. The revision date will be updated. Material changes should be reviewed before relying on the site.

12. Governing law and contact

These website terms are governed by the laws of Spain. The competent courts of Spain will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction that applicable law gives a consumer.
